Job Description:
In partnership with the local Baptist convention, work in various internally displaced people camps. Provide ministry to families with emphasis on children but also including the parents. Using your skills/training in education, social work, sports & recreation to provide a time of fun for these families. Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your ministry time you will return to the US for a joint debrief... sharing all God has done over the summer. Attendance at orientation & debrief is a requirement for all Nehemiah Teams.

Health Considerations:
Hot & humid cliamte. Field supervisor should be made aware of pre-existing medical conditions before arrival on the field.

Severe food allergies or other pre-existing medical issues may disqualify a student from serving on this team.

Equipment to Bring:
Specific packing list will be available online. Team members will be issued a NT duffle bag/backpack to use for their checked piece of luggage.
