Job Description:
Students will work among the Ngöbe-Buglé tribe, in Chiriqui, sharing the Gospel, ministering in the local school, as well as conducting community service and mapping projects.

Cultural Information:
Getting to the village on Cerro Iglesia will require a lot of walking to both access and minister. The area could be dry and hot but the projects will also be taking place during the rainy season. Personal appearance and hygiene would be very similar to that of the United States. Children will wear shorts in times of recreation and uniforms at school. Dress among adults is professional. Greetings and good byes are extremely important within the culture as well are eye contact and body language.

Health Considerations:
Students attending the trip should be prepared to walk 2-5 miles per day. Also need to be able to be on their feet for the majority of the day. It would be helpful if they could participate in activities like soccer.
