Job Description:
Take the gospel and train nationals to do the same. As a frontliner, you will engage university Muslim students in spiritual conversations that moves to the Gospel. This coastal urban context is home to many universities where students are open to spiritual conversations and need to hear someone plant the gospel in their heart and soul. As a trainer, you will train, model, and go with national believers to spread the hope of Jesus. Our team will immediately equip you with tools for training. Your goal will be to access the national believers in local campus ministries, teach, and model in evangelism and discipleship. These students have a heart to reach their peers but they often do not know how, and the Muslims are especially neglected due to fear. Your training the nationals will instill the know how, confidence and immediate obedience. Your end goal is to see the Lord raise up a group of catalyzing students equipped to evangelize and disciple their national peers.

Cultural Information:
South Asian culture revolves on gender roles and dress is reflective of this. Life here is very relational and family centric. Be prepared for invitations into people's lives, including their home. Expect to share a meal with someone, but expect to work amongst your gender. Religion is also central to most South Asians. It is an easy topic so prepare yourself to make this part of every conversation.

Geographic Information:
South Asia contains various geographic contexts. From sea coast to the Himalaya Mountains, be prepared for a third world country where development is not the primary goal. Most settings will be high levels of pollution. The mega cities and rural areas alike face this issue.

Available Housing:
Most likely an adequately furnished apartment or guest house will serve as your home.

Health Considerations:
Severe, untreatable asthma is very much a concern here.

Inability to navigate through crowded cities for long hours. Standing and walking much of the day. Severe allergies or history of severe medical conditions must be confirmed with field for approval.

Equipment to Bring:
Be prepared to "dress up" in comparison to your home culture. Guys will be expected to wear long pants and button down shirts and ladies will be expected to dress in national clothing. In some mega cities, ladies will wear more western influenced.
