Most counties and cities in Poland do not have an evangelical church. You will help start an evangelical church in a city/county without one. You will engage youth and students to develop relationships with them and try to get them to become involved in a Bible study or start a new one. All Polish students have had English every year in school, so you will work in English, having conversations with them in English. Polish people enjoy Americans and like having conversations with them. You will be working in the city of Ilawa, a city of 35,000 with a seasoned church planting team of both IMB people and local believers. The city is on the longest lake in Poland and has sailing, kayaking, and other water sports, plus nearby forest with trails to hike and ride bikes on. This is a great city for those who like being outside and having a chance to explore nature. In addition, Gdansk or Warsaw are a short train ride away.
