You'll spend hours tagging along with missionaries and telling their stories. You'll develop a strategy to ensure that the story of God's Work in southern Mexico is told in many different ways.
Oaxaca is a diverse culture with shopping malls and indigenous markets within walking distance from each other. The culture is warm and friendly. Dress is somewhat conservative and casual. Indigenous dress is common as villagers come to the city to conduct business. A clean, neat, and modest appearance will be needed to minister effectively in Oaxaca.
Southern Mexico is a wonderful place of mountains and valleys with over 15 indigenous language groups. The city of Oaxaca with an altitude of 5200 ft above sea level ensures an almost perfect climate with warm days and cool nights and low humidity. Known for its delicious food and welcoming culture, Oaxaca is a wonderful place for tourists.
