Come join a team of missionaries in southern Mexico who are committed to bringing Light to the Dark places. You'll meet some incredible people, explore an ancient culture, eat some amazing food, and LIVE the Gospel. Your journey will be challenging but will impact eternity.

Cultural Information:
Oaxaca is a diverse culture with shopping malls and indigenous markets within walking distance from each other. The culture is warm and friendly. Dress is somewhat conservative and casual. Indigenous dress is common as villagers come to the city to conduct business. A clean, neat, and modest appearance will be needed to minister effectively in Oaxaca.

Geographic Information:
Southern Mexico is a wonderful place of mountains and valleys with over 15 indigenous language groups. The city of Oaxaca with an altitude of 5200 ft above sea level ensures an almost perfect climate with warm days and cool nights and low humidity. Known for its delicious food and welcoming culture, Oaxaca is a wonderful place for tourists. Mexicans will identify themselves as Catholic and most will never experience a personal relationship with Jesus unless someone shares the Gospel with them.
